The Shield spell is one of the first spells Alcedor can get. Arthur of Darsov, the magic shop owner sells the spell for 100 
.
The spell can be upgraded after The Bridge quest into Regen Shield Spell or Thorn Shield Spell for 100 .

After using the spell, player will be surrounded by protective aura that increases defence. The aura will last indefinitely but only in current area, if go to next area the aura will fade away. Best use for the spell is for fight that prolong in one area and during the boss fights.
When Alcedor uses spell in coop mode, shield aura will apply to Cervul as well.
