Protect The Relic is a Garrison quest given at the Kastski and required to progress through the good route. Next quest in the series is Gather Reinforcements. If you can't access the quest then your moral level is too low. Sergeant will ask you to visit mayor office which is located next to garrison if you haven't done so before. Game requires you to visit mayor first before starting the quest.
Walkthrough[]
The quest is given by Sergeant at the Kastski Garrison. He asks to help with protecting the holy relic in mausoleum from a cult.
Keep the Holy Relic in the Kastski Mausoleum safe[]
You must travel to east and enter Mausoleum that is located in Kastski, you must to do it during a day. You can use an inn or a spell to skip a night. When approach to the relic Alcedor will tell priest to leave the area but will be killed by mayor's goon. After cutscene, you will fight with Goon and two axe-throwing cultists. Deal with them and return to sergeant.
Inform the Sergeant in the Kastski Garrison[]
Simply return back to sergeant that gave you the quest. You will tell him that mayor's lackey killed the priest and you must now meet with the mayor.
Confront the Mayor[]
Enter mayor's house that is next to the garrison, the large building. In there you will see Edgar murdering Joann and Timothy right before escaping through the door at far right. Follow him through the door and along the tunnel until the next cutscene.
Cultist would destroy the secret passage, blocking the tunnel, preventing Edgar to escape and be captured by sergeant. Then Edgar, Mayor of Kastki would be hanged by trial against his own village for conspiracy plotting, be reason of priest's death, murder of Joann and Timothy, and attempted murder on Duke. After the cutscene Sergeant will thanks Alcedor an quest will be completed.

Trivia[]
- Edgar's dead body will be hanging at gallows and will rot periodically through the game after the quest.
