Paimon Returns is a side quest in Infernax.
Upon Alcedor's arrival at Upel, he will be met with a possessed peasant, who will present the duke a choice to either kill or help him. If the player chooses to help, Lillian will give this quest to the player, provided their moral score isn't too low. Otherwise, she will angrily berate the player for denying help to her husband and lock the door once you leave.
Walkthrough[]
This quest becomes available after you help the possessed man and defeat Paimon, otherwise quest is unavailable. Once you reach Arkos, through obtaining Precision Strike, you can visit Lillian's house and start the quest. She will go up onto the top platforms if you flood the town, so don't be afraid of doing that if you wanted this quest for the Redemption Ending.
Ask Alan of Kastski for the spell[]
As stated by the quest giver, Alan lives in Kastski. To reach the aforementioned village, you need the Skycall skill, obtained from Stormheim Castle. Since he is the town's resident magic vendor, you can find him in his magic shop during the day or inside the mausoleum during the night. He will give you the incantation required to summon Paimon.
Resurrect and kill Paimon[]
After receiving the incantation, you should go back to the location of Paimon's corpse. Since there is a Save Shrine right next to it, it is recommended to use the Teleport Spell to quickly go, save and proceed with the fight. Note that you need to interact with the corpse, and not attack it; to do that, stand in the middle of the corpse's sprite and press the attack button. Alcedor will prompt you to decide if you're ready for the fight (you most likely are); say Yes and you'll be teleported to another dimension, where you will fight Paimon's true form. Return to Lillian of Arkos[]
After killing Paimon once more, you need to return to Lillian to turn in the quest and get your reward; she will be in her house or wandering around depending on whether you flooded Arkos or not. Although most players prefer to do this quest later in the game, you can do it as soon as you finish Stormheim Castle to make more use of the rewards.
