The Cage Demon is part of event where Alcedor can choose to burn the creator or to reason with it. The outcome of the event doesn't change moral path. Player has to choose burn and then kill it while it is burning if they wish to add the creature to their Demonology entry.
Strategy[]
If you chose to reason with it, then it would break out of the cage and kill a woman before attacking Alcedor. Its behavior is similar to night creatures, as it would jump towards the player. It isn't a major threat. Simply deal with it like any other demon.
Trivia[]
- If players choose to burn it and not kill it, leaving it burn for the entire game. There will be a secret cutscene after the ending where it continues to burn.
- If players choose to reason with it, it will escape the cage and kill Katy before attacking the players.
