Azazel the Fallen is the final boss of the secret Future Route in Infernax. To access this path, you need to talk to Gregor while having the Necronomicon and at least 95% completion in Demonology. You will then be transported into the future, facing Azazel as final boss. After killing it, you will earn The Path of The Future ending.
Strategy[]
This boss is fought over a pit of lava with three rows of small platforms. Its entire body is vulnerable to attacks. It has the following attacks:
- Firing a giant laser from its cannon arm. He can move the cannon to hit either the lower or the center row of platforms. You can destroy the cannon to stop this attack, it has 60 HP and rewards 500XP.
- Firing a giant laser from his eyes. This attack is functionally identical to the cannon attack, but can only cover the topmost platform.
- Releasing a group of Fanatics from the launcher on his back that can easily be destroyed by Alcedor's machine gun fire.
- Spewing three fireballs from his mouth. This is Azazel's most dangerous attack, as if the fireballs come into contact with platforms, they will melt, which may cause Alcedor to drop into lava and die instantly. Depending on which platforms are destroyed, it may also make it harder for Alcedor to dodge its other attacks. The platforms respawn over time, so Azazel can never destroy all of them regardless of the time spent to defeat him.
