Infernax Wiki

Abbadon is one of the three possible final bosses in Infernax. The player will face it at the end of The Evil Path.

Appearance[]

Abbadon is a giant demon with multiple eyes. Its skin is primarily red, and it has two horns on its head. It's wearing what looks to be a metallic spiky headgear, connected to the bottom of its jaw. Abbadon also has multiple tentacles, seen mainly during its attacks.

Strategy[]

Unlike the fights with Baphomet and Belphegor, Abbadon's boss fight is more of a shoot 'em up; Alcedor will transform into his demon form and be able to fly and shoot projectiles. This makes Hellfire useless for this fight. Abbadon's body is invincible to all attacks; to deal damage, you must shoot its eyes.

Abbadon has four attacks. Its first attack consists of sending tentacles towards Alcedor, which can be hit to make them shrink as they can otherwise take up the entire screen. Its second attack uses tentacles again, but this time to strike above or below Alcedor. The only way to dodge this attack is to keep moving, as Abbadon will strike where Alcedor is rather than where he will be. Keep an eye out for any tentacles that could be sent towards you, as Abbadon can use both at once.

Its third attack consists of spitting out a barrage of fireballs, which can be rather tricky to avoid because of how many it spits out. Its fourth and final attack has Abbadon retreat to reveal a wall of tentacles, that Alcedor must shoot down to create a path through. It's heavily recommended to use Fire Storm during this part, as Alcedor's normal attack isn't enough to break through the tentacles quickly.

To make this boss fight easier, it's recommended to stay on the left side of the screen, to give as much time as possible to shoot down any tentacles heading towards you. If you're not quick enough to shoot down the tentacles, you can move forward and either up or down depending on where the tentacle is to avoid them instead. Drain Life can prove useful if there's a bunch of tentacles on the screen, like during the tentacle wall attack. Using various potions, especially Mana Potions or Elixirs, will also prove useful, if not essential, to keep using Fire Storm. As per usual, the Shield Spell is good to use at the start of the match, especially with Abbadon's high offensive stat. Finally, using the Familiar or Fiend spell can be helpful during the tentacle wall attack, but otherwise is not recommended over Fire Storm, since the Familiar won't attack Abbadon often, if at all, compared to the Fire Storm spell that will keep dealing damage to Abbadon after the attack (and also deals more damage than the Familiar).
